Extragalactic red shift Observations
The most distant objects have been shown to exhibit larger red shifts, according to the Hubble flow of the universe.
The largest observed red shift is that of the cosmic microwave background radiation. This shows the state of the universe about 13.7 years ago. This corresponds to about 379,000 years after the Big Bang.
The very bright quasars were the first of the “high-red shift” extragalactic features. According to Hubble’s Law, the degree of red shift is proportional to the galaxy’s distance from earth.
